The Employee Retention Credit is available through December 31, 2021. 

The ERC is a refundable tax credit intended to encourage business owners to keep their employees on the payroll and minimize the number of workers filing for unemployment benefits.

For 2021, the tax credit is equal to 70% of qualified wages that eligible employers pay their employees, and qualified employers can earn a maximum credit of $7,000 per employee per quarter.

The ERC is not a loan, recipients will never need to repay or seek forgiveness for ERC funds.

How do you qualify? Your gross receipts declined by 20% or more compared to the same quarter last year OR your company’s operations were fully or partially suspended due to COVID-19.
