We are a prestigious CPA Company based in the US, currently looking for tax, bookkeeping, and audit specialists to join our Team.

About Us

We are a small international company hiring for remote employees to work with us as US accountants & auditors.

Workload

We have one main busy period each year between February and April where we will ask that you work extended hours and a minimum of 6-day workweeks. The rest of the year has a more normal workload. Please kindly apply if interested and we will interview you.

Tax Accountant

This is a full-time job, please don’t contact us if you’re not ready to work full time. Please, note that this job also requires excellent English language skills. Please, do not apply if your level is less than C1. Thank you!

Requirements

No US tax experience is necessary, however, the ideal candidate will have excellent English skills and a general background in accounting or finance. The type of person that is normally successful at this role is great with technology, self-motivated, and willing to research the tax code prior to asking for assistance.

Responsibilities

–Preparing returns with:

—-W2s & Multiple K-1s

—-Multiple states

—-Schedule C & D & E

—-Foreign entity reporting, 5471, FBARs, etc.

It is a bonus if you have the following:

–CPA, EA, or degree in accounting

–Mandarin language skills preferred but not required due to us having Mandarin-speaking clients

–Ability to learn new software quickly – we do not train and expect senior staff to quickly google any questions and learn independently

 

Accounting assistant

The Tax Associate will assist our clients with preparation, review, and analysis of their tax disclosures, including providing advisory once trained. We are willing to train and teach as long as the individual is responsible and takes work seriously.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to work the evening shift and weekend, 5-7 days a week
  • Accounting Graduate or degree in progress
  • Strong communication skills
  • Moderate computer skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and grow
  • Reliable Team Player
  • Excel skills preferred (not required)
  • QuickBooks knowledge preferred (not required)

Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant:

  • Communicate & correspond with clients through email and phone
  • Meet important deadlines
  • Work in a fast paced environment
  • Perform accounting & tax related tasks as needed
  • Handle AP & AR tasks
  • Perform Bookkeeping
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Monthly cash flow reports

Bookkeeper

Responsibilities: 

  • Fact-checking accounting/financial information.
  • Preparing financial statements (profit & loss and balance sheet, and/or statement of cash flow) from raw financial information.
  • Reviewing financial statements and ensuring all numbers comply with local legal requirements.
  • Preparing financial reports by analyzing, collecting, and condensing account trends and information.
  • Using a system (eg. QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Wave) to account for the financial transactions made by the company to establish a chart of accounts.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Must be flexible to work longer hours during deadlines and candidates with audit or accounting experience are a great fit.

Auditor

We’ll rely on you to ensure that our financial operations and controls meet standards and are error-free.

Our Senior Auditor must be meticulous and analytical, with deep knowledge of auditing practices. We expect you to be reliable, with strong organizational skills, as well as expertise in risk management and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • ⁠  ⁠Plan and oversee the auditing process
  • ⁠  ⁠Allocate responsibilities to junior and staff auditors
  • ⁠  ⁠Review team members’ work for accuracy and compliance
  • ⁠  ⁠Perform effective risk and control assessments
  • ⁠  ⁠Complete audits on time and submit reports to auditing manager
  • ⁠  ⁠Present audit findings and find ways to increase compliance and efficiency
  • ⁠  ⁠Coordinate periodical audits

Requirements:

  • ⁠  ⁠Proven experience as an auditor
  • ⁠  ⁠In-depth understanding of auditing and control practices
  • ⁠  ⁠Updated knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
  • ⁠  ⁠Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software
  • ⁠  ⁠Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • ⁠  ⁠Attention to detail
  • ⁠  ⁠Organizational and leadership abilities
  • ⁠  ⁠Integrity and reliability
  • ⁠  ⁠BSc/BA in Accounting or Finance; master’s degree and professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA) are pluses
