Where are you
with the deadline?

Requesting an extension and finishing an extended return are different jobs. We help you work out which one needs doing.

Need an extension?

We check eligibility, prepare Form 7004 where applicable and review any payment due before the filing deadline.

The right return.
For your business.

Your tax classification determines the filing work. “LLC” alone doesn’t tell the whole story.

S corporations

Form 1120-S

Extended business returns, shareholder K-1s and supporting schedules. We review the records and the work still required.

Partnerships

Form 1065

Partnership returns, partner K-1s and multi-member LLCs taxed as partnerships, with bookkeeping help where needed.

C corporations

Form 1120

Corporate returns, extension requests and tax payment review. Your tax year and filing position guide the deadline check.

Single-member LLC? S-corp election? We check how your entity is taxed, plus any separate state return or annual-report requirements.

to pay.

A filing extension doesn’t move the tax payment deadline. We review any tax due, payments already made and the remaining balance alongside the return.

A few things
to clear up.

Can I extend a return after its deadline?

Generally, Form 7004 must be filed by the applicable return’s due date. If that date has passed, tell us your tax year and any extension already submitted so we can review the position.

Do I need to file if the business made no money?

A filing obligation can still exist when a business has no income or makes a loss. We review your entity type and activity before determining which returns are required.

Can you help if my books aren’t finished?

Yes. Send the records you have and explain what is outstanding. We review the bookkeeping work and confirm the scope and timetable before taking it on.

Does a federal extension cover everything?

It applies to the specific federal return requested. State tax filings, payments and annual reports need a separate review, as do the owners’ personal returns.

Extension rules: IRS Form 7004 instructions.
